Amazing 1979 Alfa Romeo Sprint Veloce, with less than 51,950 original miles   $13,500 

I found this car local to me in Southern California, still wearing its original blue California license plates; there were said to be two previous owners before me. With 49,900 original miles it was in very nice condition and appeared to have been garaged its entire life. It still had its factory original red paint, but unfortunately had some sort of fall-out damage to the front end.  In an effort to revive the paint, the finish had been heavily buffed, wearing the red thin on most of the leading edges.  The original paint could not be saved.  The car has been sitting and not run for approx. 10 years from 1996 - 2006, however service records indicate the previous owner, took the car to Alfa Performanc Connection in February of 2006 for proper oiling of the cylinder bores before starting, as well as R&R the fuel tank, replace and clean the fuel lines, and replace the hoses and belts. 

When I purchased the car, it was difficult to start, but ran and drove well.  I was excited to learn the gearbox syncros were prefect! I had been looking for a good clean one of these for years and and was thrilled to have found it such overall nice original condition. I really like the clean lines of this body style; it has always been one of my favorite designs.

Upon purchase, I had the car flat bedded back over to APC, as they are the best in SoCal with Alfa repair and maintenance.  I gave shop owner, Stewart, a long list of items to repair, including a wish list of things I wanted done.  I ask him to give the car whatever it needed.  APC did just that, performing a number of repairs including a new drive line donut, fitted a new head gasket to eliminate a bad oil leak, repaired the A/C, (yes, it now blows cold), installed a new thermostatic actuator, lowered the car, fitted a new alternator, and installed a European exhaust header & European exhaust - a $5500 repair bill! (I retained all the original California Smog equipment)  

I then had the car professionally re-sprayed, single stage, removing most of the exterior trim. The new red paint now looks gorgeous!  I also has all the exterior black trim repainted and that looks great too. I sourced the 17" wheels from the UK, as the 4x98 size are difficult to locate these days; and fitted new Yokohama performance tires. The black leather interior and dash are in amazing condition. I enjoyed driving the car; it sounds and drives wonderful. I have spent thousands to restore this car; there are not many of these left in this condition.  This car is a real find and in my opinion has the best color combination.
